About

Michael is originally from Grand Turk, the capital of the Turks and Caicos Islands. He relocated to Miami, South Florida for his formative education, then Baltimore where he obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Architecture at the Maryland Institute College of Art in 1996, which included a study abroad at Studio Art Centers International (SACI) in Florence, Italy, minoring in art history.

Michael worked as a project manager in the high-end residential market in Miami Beach, overseeing design builds for many high-rise condominium projects. In 1999 he returned to the Turks and Caicos, residing on Providenciales, where he launched Innovative Interiors & Architecture Design in 2000, later partnering with a NYC Architecture firm in 2005 to form Fenimore Rosenberg Kolb LLC., an international Architecture Design firm, and also established Belongings, a trendy boutique furniture and accessories showroom on Providenciales. Michael returned to the United States from 2011 – 2015 to study digital marketing and web design at Miami Dade College. He worked for one of the largest direct response marketing companies in the US, Weiss Research, where he honed his digital sales and marketing skills to an expert level. Michael is passionate about art and art history, he spends his free time producing paintings, drawings, and mixed media fine art. Michael once again returned to the islands in 2016 and launched an animal welfare charity TCI A.W.A.R.E. on his native island of Grand Turk to help mitigate the lack of resources and the mistreatment of the islands free-roaming donkeys and horses.

In 2018 Michael became a member of TCREA, with a local real estate company, utilizing his analytical skills and market knowledge to serve his clients. Continuing his real estate career as a team member of Turks & Caicos Sotheby’s International Realty, the leading real estate company in the country, Michael brings an intimate knowledge of local culture, an expert understanding of design trends in coastal/island architecture, and an adept understanding of sales and marketing strategies that best fit the TCI real estate industry.
