6 The Sanctuary | Flamingo Lake Welcome to ‘The Sanctuary’ on Flamingo Lake; a private collection of estate residences in the heart of Turks & Caicos Islands. A considered residential community in a delicate landscape, The Sanctuary provides a quiet retreat in an ever-popular Caribbean destination. Combining a sensitive lakefront architecture with progressive building technology, The Sanctuary provides a gentle yet modern approach to life on the islands. The peninsula overlooking Providenciales’ Flamingo Lake is a natural habitat where Flamingos can occasionally be found dotting the water’s edge. The waters of the lake have long been a place of calm. The Sanctuary hugs the shore of the peninsula, providing Lakehouse sites on the way to a promontory of unique amenities. Lakehouse 6 boasts over 150’ of frontage, ensuring that nearby homes are always at a comfortable distance. As well as accommodating the main residence, the low density site provides opportunities for ancillary building options within the parcel. The gated community benefits from a single road through the only land border, with the site otherwise surrounded by water; re-enforcing the sense of calm synonymous with the lake. The Lakehouse seeks to unify a beautiful setting with a progressive lifestyle. With interchangeable layout options residents can choose a home that better suits their work, or leisure, needs. Set over two floors, the property has been carefully designed to allow outdoor living throughout the day, with a series of interconnected shaded terraces. Interior spaces are principally orientated to the main pool and the waters beyond. The community amenities include a pickleball court, a yoga & stretch pavilion, an outdoor workspace, a fire-pit amphitheater, an electric vehicle charging station and non-motorized watersports. Utilising advanced building technology the Lakehouse offers a sustainable and enduring property while providing a unique waterfront architecture. Lakehouse 6 can accommodate a 3 or 4 bedroom villa as well as upgrades such as a freestanding garage and waterside fire pit.

About

A native of Turks & Caicos, Courtney was born in the small island capital of Grand Turk to English parents, and later moved to Providenciales, where she grew up. Courtney has witnessed all stages of development throughout her life in the islands, and possesses an authentic and rooted affinity for her home, as well as a worldly curiousity, provided by extensive International travel and the gift afforded by living in different countries. With a secondary and graduate education in the US (BA from University of Miami) and post-graduate education in the UK (law degree), Courtney marries her respect and knowledge of multiple cultures with deep local knowledge. After practicing law, led by a love of interior design and architecture, Courtney took a hard-left turn and decided to pursue a career in real estate, as Executive Assistant to Turks and Caicos Sotheby’s International Realty Vice President, Nina Siegenthaler, where her experience focused mainly on high-end condominium resorts and private villas ranging between $1.5M - $4M. Here, Courtney cut her teeth on real estate and used this experience as a springboard to becoming Head of Sales and Marketing for renowned Amanyara resort (private villas of $7M+), where she further developed her marketing skills and knowledge of the ultra-high-end market. Courtney then rejoined TCSIR as New Development Coordinator, where she managed over $100M of new development business, with President Joe Zahm and Vice President Nina Siegenthaler, on projects such as Beach Enclave and South Bank. Courtney now expands her mindful approach as a skilled sales agent and consultant, delivering opportunities to individual and community needs. Rooted in instinct and experience over 30+ years in TCI and 7+ years in the Real Estate industry, Courtney is an innovative and multi-faceted woman with a great love for environment, both built and natural, who takes pride in her career and her beautiful family, husband, Oliver (Real Estate Attorney and Partner of Griffiths & Partners), daughter Georgie, and her two step-children Annabel and Charlie.
