Welcome to The Summit, a select pre-construction opportunity of only 9 villas positioned in a residential enclave on the highest point in Providenciales, offering commanding unimpeded 180-degree ocean views over the North Shore. With vantage points from 94 to 160 feet above sea level and 3 Villas already sold, the Developers of Ridgeview and Karaya Blue, Latitude 22 are delighted to present this low-density development to the Turks & Caicos luxury market. At The Summit, unrivalled ocean views and an irreplaceable location combine with considerate design and organic modern architecture to produce a truly unique offering of 3- to 5-bedroom customizable villas. The highest listed villa at The Summit, Curve Villa 8, has been thoughtfully laid out to take full advantage of the ocean view positioning at 152 feet. Spanning 6,834 total sq. ft. (including 4,553 a/c sq. ft. and an additional 2,281 square feet of exterior terracing), the environmentally sustainable design includes not only 7.5kw of 20 roof mounted Solar Panels, but also living ‘green’ roofs designed by Jörg Breuning whose organization Green Roof Technology has been shaping the technology in Europe for over 40 years ago, and more recently North America and the Caribbean. This sustainable feature acts as a cooling aid, reduces rainwater runoff, protects against weather, and provides an additional habitat for natural flora and fauna, ensuring the development enhances rather than imposes upon the beautiful natural surrounds and ocean views of its location in Blue Mountain At the Summit, the interiors are as carefully considered as the exteriors - providing a sense of calm through a less-is-more approach to design. Beginning with a calming water feature to the light filled entry from a dramatic sky light, breathtaking panoramic ocean vistas can be seen from every room of the open plan design. Light gray/greige Montesano floor tiles throughout provide continuity, Miami-Dade certified high-efficiency floor-to-ceiling doors and windows frame the views LED recessed lighting in the 11-foot ceilings act as neutral pillars to a tasteful optional soft furnishing package curated by Restoration Hardware. The professional grade kitchen features a Bertazzoni Series range and Thermador appliances. Porcelanosa European designed cabinetry and Calacatta Quartz countertops feature throughout. Gated villa entry, unimpeded panoramic ocean views, view protection, a ‘dark sky’ lighting ethos to enhance the natural night sky, and a voluntary rental program with 5 star Rental Manager Island House Luxury Villa Manager are just some of the benefits of ownership at The Summit. Choose to rent your property or not, with the option to work with our preferred Rental Manager, or simply enjoy the quiet retreat of your villa set apart from the crowds. Optional flex space for gym, media room or in-home theatre. Additional solar and design options available by request.

About

Michael is originally from Grand Turk, the capital of the Turks and Caicos Islands. He relocated to Miami, South Florida for his formative education, then Baltimore where he obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Architecture at the Maryland Institute College of Art in 1996, which included a study abroad at Studio Art Centers International (SACI) in Florence, Italy, minoring in art history.

Michael worked as a project manager in the high-end residential market in Miami Beach, overseeing design builds for many high-rise condominium projects. In 1999 he returned to the Turks and Caicos, residing on Providenciales, where he launched Innovative Interiors & Architecture Design in 2000, later partnering with a NYC Architecture firm in 2005 to form Fenimore Rosenberg Kolb LLC., an international Architecture Design firm, and also established Belongings, a trendy boutique furniture and accessories showroom on Providenciales. Michael returned to the United States from 2011 – 2015 to study digital marketing and web design at Miami Dade College. He worked for one of the largest direct response marketing companies in the US, Weiss Research, where he honed his digital sales and marketing skills to an expert level. Michael is passionate about art and art history, he spends his free time producing paintings, drawings, and mixed media fine art. Michael once again returned to the islands in 2016 and launched an animal welfare charity TCI A.W.A.R.E. on his native island of Grand Turk to help mitigate the lack of resources and the mistreatment of the islands free-roaming donkeys and horses.

In 2018 Michael became a member of TCREA, with a local real estate company, utilizing his analytical skills and market knowledge to serve his clients. Continuing his real estate career as a team member of Turks & Caicos Sotheby’s International Realty, the leading real estate company in the country, Michael brings an intimate knowledge of local culture, an expert understanding of design trends in coastal/island architecture, and an adept understanding of sales and marketing strategies that best fit the TCI real estate industry.
