Moroccan Style Masterpiece on Sapodilla Bay

The incredible “La Koubba” is an 8,000 square foot Moroccan-style masterpiece with gated entry offering peace and privacy with thanks to the immaculate mature tropical landscaping screening every boundary wall. A 'koubba' is an Arabic domed structure, often the destination of a pilgrimage, and that description is apt when you consider that this beachfront 7-bedroom luxury villa is located on the western tip of beautiful Sapodilla Bay Beach on an elevated coastal outcrop. La Koubba has six bedrooms in the main house with two on the ground floor and four on the second floor. Five of the bedrooms have king size beds, one bedroom has two twin beds, and all the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms. Air-conditioning is available throughout. The seventh bedroom comes courtesy of a guest cottage with a private entrance from the courtyard. This accommodation includes a king-size bedroom with en-suite bathroom, lounge, kitchenette, and covered patio. The fully equipped kitchen has granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and the villa also provides amenities for al fresco dining with its outdoor dining table, lounge seating, gas BBQ grill, and food prep area. As you step from the courtyard into the villa, you’ll be in a spacious living room overlooking the sparkling water of Sapodilla Bay. Slide the glass doors open to the covered terrace lounge with its cushioned seats and cool breezes. A waterfront gazebo with reclining loungers provides a view to the horizon. Your private pool has a gated footpath that opens onto the white sands of Sapodilla Bay Beach. This shallow cove is always warm, calm, and clear. Grab one of the villa’s kayaks or paddle boards and glide out onto the water. A thriving rental business, financials available upon request.

About

A native of Turks & Caicos, Courtney was born in the small island capital of Grand Turk to English parents, and later moved to Providenciales, where she grew up. Courtney has witnessed all stages of development throughout her life in the islands, and possesses an authentic and rooted affinity for her home, as well as a worldly curiousity, provided by extensive International travel and the gift afforded by living in different countries. With a secondary and graduate education in the US (BA from University of Miami) and post-graduate education in the UK (law degree), Courtney marries her respect and knowledge of multiple cultures with deep local knowledge. After practicing law, led by a love of interior design and architecture, Courtney took a hard-left turn and decided to pursue a career in real estate, as Executive Assistant to Turks and Caicos Sotheby’s International Realty Vice President, Nina Siegenthaler, where her experience focused mainly on high-end condominium resorts and private villas ranging between $1.5M - $4M. Here, Courtney cut her teeth on real estate and used this experience as a springboard to becoming Head of Sales and Marketing for renowned Amanyara resort (private villas of $7M+), where she further developed her marketing skills and knowledge of the ultra-high-end market. Courtney then rejoined TCSIR as New Development Coordinator, where she managed over $100M of new development business, with President Joe Zahm and Vice President Nina Siegenthaler, on projects such as Beach Enclave and South Bank. Courtney now expands her mindful approach as a skilled sales agent and consultant, delivering opportunities to individual and community needs. Rooted in instinct and experience over 30+ years in TCI and 7+ years in the Real Estate industry, Courtney is an innovative and multi-faceted woman with a great love for environment, both built and natural, who takes pride in her career and her beautiful family, husband, Oliver (Real Estate Attorney and Partner of Griffiths & Partners), daughter Georgie, and her two step-children Annabel and Charlie.
